Toolbox

I never did tell you about my Christmas haul. I got a couple nice sweaters, some random stuff from my Amazon wishlist, and the highlight was my mom got me some items on my list that will start building up the missing pieces in my room collection.

She got me a screwdriver and bits set that has like 60 different bits from Phillips to Flathead to about 6 types I didn’t even know existed. And she got me a 3/8th drive ratchet to replace the one that went missing.

Last night I hopped into the Harbor Freight website and I ordered socket rails in 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″ sizes, as well as an awl, a level, plastic funnels, a set of drill bits, a set of socket adapters, and 2 inexpensive battery powered lanterns that were on sale so maybe next time there’s a power outage we won’t have to sit in the dark.

There’s other tools I still need to replace but I will get them a few pieces at a time, and everything I’ll have all the basics again.

The next things I buy will be the socket sizes I’m missing and I think I need to replace my nut driver but not sure. I would also like a mallet and a few other measuring tools. Power tools would be awesome, but those can come later.
